WHO should come to Camp of CHAMPS?
Students going into 6th grade through 12th grade and Students entering their Freshman Year in College
Student Organizations and clubs (e.g. Student Council, PALS, AVID Programs, DECA, HOSA, FCCLA, NHS, FTA, Key Club, Athletic Teams, and Scout Troops!
And any individual that desires to be a part of this motivating and uplifting event.
WHAT IS A CHAMP?
Simply stated CHAMPS stands for Confidence, Honesty, Action, Motivation, Purpose, and Success. Your student will learn:
how to have unstoppable self-Confidence.
how to be Honest with themselves and others.
how to take daily Action towards their goals and dreams.
how to stay Motivated during the highs and lows of school and life.
how to connect with their true Purpose, which involves making a difference in the lives of others.
how to create their own definition of Success which will lead to inner peace and a freedom to be their true self.
Camp Goals and Objectives:
- To help students identify their dreams and aspirations in life and empower them with the self confidence necessary to turn those dreams into reality.
- To give young people the tools necessary to develop their own academic, athletic, and social goals.
- To provide a safe place for young people to confront their fears and insecurities so that they can move past them and look forward to the challenges of school and growing up.
- To inspire educators and adult leaders of youth to continue building our students into leaders and give them the latest information, techniques and strategies to meet the needs of our students.
- To bring groups of young people together and show them how to work together for the common good of each other, their school, community and our world.
